Tunes of a guitar on a lazy afternoon,
And the sound of the waves by the sea.
A book in my hand as I sit bare chested,
Through my glasses, I watch the seagulls flee.
The touch as I walk barefoot on the sand yet again,
I lay down and wish, to never come back from sleep.
Gazing at the distant lighthouse afar and endlessly,
No one to accompany but my thoughts and solely me.
But the heart houses an empty corridor, in uncertainty,
Will the vapour of love I heave, bring companionship?
As the wind blows my hair and gushes about my beauty,
The moment proposes, “if not anyone, today only you & me”.
